SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle collision was reported Monday morning on an Interstate 5 exit ramp near the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.
The crash occurred on the offramp from I-5 southbound to Union Street. It was first reported by WSDOT at 8:00 a.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but the Washington State Patrol and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team responded to the scene.
Footage captured at the ramp shows the right shoulder blocked by emergency vehicles as traffic passes slowly through the single lane. It was not immediately clear how many vehicles were impacted in the crash.

By 8:26 a.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway.
