THURSTON COUNTY, WA — Three people were hospitalized late Saturday night following a single-vehicle collision in northeast Lacey, according to FOX13 Seattle.
The accident happened near the roundabout at 31st Avenue Northeast at approximately 8:00 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the wreck, but a vehicle slammed into a tree at high speed.
Lacey Fire Department crews responded to the scene and performed a rescue extrication for three occupants trapped in the car.
Authorities said all three patients suffered serious injuries but were said to be stable at the time they were transported to Providence St. Peter Hospital. No updates on their condition have been released at this time.
A section of Willamette Drive was shut down during an investigation.
