SEATTLE, WA — A 30-year-old man was injured Tuesday night when his motorcycle was hit by another vehicle in Seattle’s Interbay neighborhood, reports King 5.
Seattle Police Department said the crash happened in the area of 15th Avenue West and West Newton Street, at about 8:30 p.m.
The circumstances behind the event are unclear at this time, but the motorcyclist suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Harborview Medical Center.
Authorities said the driver of the car was arrested and processed for DUI.
A section of the northbound road was briefly closed during the emergency response, and nearby southbound lanes were also later blocked off for an investigation. By 11:45 p.m., officials had cleared the scene and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
