SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle collision Thursday night blocked three right lanes on Interstate 5 near Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The crash happened on the southbound lanes just south of I-90, at milepost 165. It was first reported by WSDOT shortly after 7:00 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what caused the wreck or how many vehicles were involved, but a photo taken at the scene shows at least two fire trucks responding to the scene.
All traffic was forced to get by through the left shoulder until about 7:14 p.m., after two left lanes had reopened. A right lane remained closed as crews continued tending to the scene along the right shoulder.
