KING COUNTY, WA — A driver was arrested for suspected DUI Sunday morning after a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 405 in Kirkland, reports KIRO 7 Seattle.
The incident occurred on the southbound interstate near 85th Street, at about 6:00 a.m.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the suspect was driving a pickup truck southbound at a high rate of speed when the vehicle hit the back of a southbound SUV.
The impact of the crash caused the SUV to spin out before it came to rest in the middle of the roadway. The pickup truck also lost control as it spun out in front of an RV and crashed off the roadway.
No injuries were reported in the event, but authorities said the driver of the pickup was taken into custody under suspicion of DUI.
