PIERCE COUNTY, WA — Four people were injured Saturday night in a multi-vehicle accident near south Puyallup, according to KIRO 7 News.
Puyallup Police responded to the scene in the 2500 block of South Meridian at about 9:37 p.m.
Before their arrival, officers were alerted to a vehicle on fire with occupants possibly trapped inside.
No details have been shared regarding the condition of the victims, but four people, including one person who was found lying on the roadway, were transported to a hospital.
South Meridian was shut down in both directions during the emergency response.
An investigation was being led by the Metro Major Collision Response Team.
