KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle collision Thursday morning blocked two left lanes on State Route 167 near the Christopher area of Auburn, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.

The accident occurred on the northbound lanes just north of 15th Street Northwest and was first reported by WSDOT at 9:50 a.m.

It was not immediately clear what caused the wreck or how many vehicles were involved, but footage taken at the scene shows an SUV at rest in a ditch off the right side of the roadway.

Shortly after 10:00 a.m., the Washington State Patrol, Fire Assistance, and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team had all responded to the site. Motorists in the area were warned of delays.

By 11:41 a.m., more than an hour and a half later, the scene had cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.

Authorities have not confirmed any serious injuries as of this writing.
