SEATTLE, WA — Two men were hospitalized Friday morning after a fiery rollover crash on Interstate 5 near Seattle’s Northgate neighborhood, according to KOMO News.
The accident happened on the northbound lanes just north of Northeast Northgate Way.
Little information has been released at this time, but Washington State Patrol said a van was traveling through a construction zone when it crashed over a barrier and caught fire.
Crews with South Transit and the Seattle Department of Transportation had to break windows on the vehicle to pull the male occupants out.
Seattle Fire confirmed both victims suffered critical injuries and were transported to Harborview Medical Center.
