WEST SEATTLE, WA — One person was injured late Sunday morning in a multi-vehicle collision that also damaged a building in West Seattle’s Gatewood neighborhood, according to West Seattle Blog.
The accident occurred at the intersection of California Avenue Southwest and Southwest Frontenac Street and was first reported by WSB at 11:48 a.m.
It was unclear what caused the crash, but three vehicles appear to have been involved. Photos taken at the scene show severe front-end damage to one dark-colored sedan after having struck a storefront. Structural damage to the building can be observed.
One person suffered undisclosed injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
By 11:53 a.m., all southbound lanes on California were closed to traffic.
Shortly after 12:30 p.m., tow crews had arrived on the scene to begin clearing the wreckage from the roadway.
