KITTITAS COUNTY, WA — A DUI suspect was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon after rear-ending a Washington State Department of Transportation truck on Interstate 90 near Easton, reports the Washington State Patrol.
The incident occurred on the westbound lanes near Exit 63, about seven miles west of Easton, at about 3:30 p.m.
According to Trooper John Bryant, the WSDOT truck was conducting traffic control and blocking a disabled vehicle and a tow truck when it was hit by a sedan.
No injuries have been reported at this time, but WSP said the driver of the sedan was suspected of impairment and arrested at the scene.
