SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon blocked two center lanes on Interstate 5 in downtown Seattle’s Central Business District, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.
The crash happened on the southbound lanes just north of Union Street, near Washington State Convention Center. It was first reported by WSDOT at 2:50 p.m.
On I-5 southbound just north of Union St there is a collision blocking the 2 center lanes.

Shortly before 3:50 p.m., WSDOT’s Incident Response Team (IRT) was able to clear the scene from the roadway, and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
