SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle collision Thursday morning blocked two right lanes on Interstate 5 near Westlake Center in downtown Seattle, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.
The crash happened on the southbound lanes just north of Union Street and was first reported by WSDOT at 8:35 a.m.
Update 8:34 AM : On I-5 southbound just north of Union St there is a collision blocking the 2 right lanes.

Footage captured at the scene show at least one fire truck responding to what appears to be a multi-vehicle accident. In addition to the two right lanes, the onramp from Yale Avenue was also partially blocked.

Shortly after 9:30 a.m., only the right lane remained blocked. Several minutes later, all lanes were reopened to traffic.
As of this writing, authorities have not released information regarding the parties involved or any significant injuries.
