News: Pedestrian dies after apparent hit-and-run crash in NE Olympia

THURSTON COUNTY, WA — A man was found deceased early Friday after an apparent hit-and-run collision near Providence St. Peter Hospital in northeast Olympia, reports KOMO News.

Olympia Police responded to the scene on Martin Way near Lily Road at approximately 2:45 a.m.

Details are limited at this time, but officers arrived to find the victim lying alone in the middle of the road and without signs of life. Authorities believe he was struck by a driver who fled the scene.

A section of the road was shut down as an investigation was conducted.
