SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — At least one person died Tuesday evening after a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 5 near southwest Arlington, according to FOX13 Seattle.
The fatal collision occurred on the northbound lanes just south of State Route 530. It was first reported by the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) at 5:00 p.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but the Washington State Patrol confirmed at least one fatality in a crash involving multiple cars.
All northbound lanes were shut down following the crash, but an hour later, one lane of traffic was reopened for traffic to pass.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area as emergency crews responded to the scene.
