News: Crews respond to vehicle fire on 38th Ave SW in West Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle fire was reported early Wednesday evening at an intersection in West Seattle’s High Point neighborhood, according to West Seattle Blog.

The incident took place off 38th Avenue Southwest and Southwest Juneau Street. It was first reported by West Seattle Blog shortly before 5:00 p.m.

A photo captured at the scene shows what appears to be a passenger car fully engulfed in flames.

Seattle Fire Department crews responded to the scene about fifteen minutes after the dispatch. No further details have been shared regarding the cause of the event or any injuries, but no medic unit appears to have arrived.

By 5:40 p.m., flames had been extinguished and firefighters had left the scene.
