PIERCE COUNTY, WA — A vehicle collision Tuesday morning closed a right lane and a center lane on Interstate 5 near Tacoma Mall in south Tacoma, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident impacted the northbound lanes at milepost 131.19, near the exit to South 48th Street. It was first reported by WSDOT at 7:26 a.m.
Collision on I-5 NB, at MP 131.19 near S 48th St. Beginning at 7:25 am on Jan. 25, 2022 until further notice. The right, center lane is blocked.

By 7:35 a.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
