TACOMA, WA — A vehicle accident Wednesday morning blocked a right lane on Interstate 5 near the Port of Tacoma heading into in Fife, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.
The crash happened on the northbound lanes at milepost 136.06, approaching Port of Tacoma Road. It was first reported by WSDOT shortly after 6:30 a.m.
Collision on I-5 NB, at MP 136.09 near Port Of Tacoma Rd. Beginning at 6:31 am on Jan. 19, 2022 until further notice. The right lane is blocked.

By 6:36 a.m., more than half an hour later, the scene had been cleared from the roadway with all lanes reopened to traffic.
