SEATTLE, WA — A tree fell on top of a car Wednesday morning, causing delays on a State Route 99 onramp near west Seattle’s Delridge neighborhood, according to King 5.
Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) said the incident occurred on the ramp from West Marginal Way at approximately 7:40 a.m.
Authorities announced delays in the area as emergency crews responded to the scene.
Shortly after 8:00 a.m., the tree had been cleared and the onramp was reopened.
No information regarding any serious injuries has been released.
