KING COUNTY, WA — One person was hospitalized Wednesday evening after a collision involving a semi-truck near Lakemont Community Park in southeast Bellevue, according to FOX 13 Seattle.
The crash happened at the intersection of Lakemont Boulevard and Southeast Newport Way at about 8:00 p.m.
Bellevue police said the truck collided with a power pole, causing it to fall.
The driver was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries. No updates on his condition has been released.
Authorities closed the southbound lane on Lakemont Boulevard while investigators worked at the scene.
