KING COUNTY, WA — A 61-year-old man was hospitalized Monday after being struck by a driver in the parking lot of a Renton McDonald’s restaurant, according to KIRO 7 News.

Renton police said the incident occurred in the Renton Village restaurant, located in the 400 block of Grady Way.

A preliminary investigation indicates the victim was walking along the drive-thru, and not within a marked crosswalk, at the time of the crash.

Medics rushed him to a local hospital with critical head injuries. No updates on his condition have been released.

Responding officers said the driver did not appear to be intoxicated and cooperated with the investigation.
