News: One hospitalized after rollover wreck on West Marginal Way in west Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A man was injured Saturday afternoon in a multi-vehicle accident that cause one car to flip in west Seattle’s Youngstown neighborhood, according to West Seattle Blog.

Seattle Fire crews responded to the scene on West Marginal Way Southeast near the Southwest Andover Street intersection shortly after 2:26 p.m.

Few details were made available, but authorities said three vehicles were involved, and one adult male victim had to be extricated from a vehicle that flipped onto its roof.

Bystanders attended to the trapped victim before firefighters arrived. He was later transported to Harborview Medical Center by private ambulance in stable condition, indicating non-life-threatening injuries.

No other serious injuries were reported.

All southbound lanes of West Marginal Way were shut down during the response, and traffic was diverted to the low bridge.

Shortly before 3:30 p.m., all lanes were reopened to traffic.
