by | Dec 14, 2021 | Accidents in the News |

KING COUNTY, WA — A multi-vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer Monday afternoon closed all southbound lanes on the Pacific Highway South in south Federal Way, according to KOMO News.

Authorities said the accident took place in the 35900 block of the highway, near West Hylebos Wetlands Park, shortly before 4:00 p.m.

It was unclear what led up to the crash, but at least three vehicles were involved. One car appeared to have broken into multiple pieces in the crash, and the driver of a big rig had to extricate himself out of its cab.

Despite the high impact of the crash, police said no major injuries were reported.

No further information has been released on the parties involved.
