News: Motorcyclist killed in crash caused by suspected DUI driver near Kent

KING COUNTY, WA — A 33-year-old man died early Sunday morning after his motorcycle was hit by a suspected impaired driver in the East Hill-Meridian area near Kent, according to Kent Reporter.

The fatal crash happened near the intersection of 124th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 202nd Place at around 3:00 a.m.

Few details have been reported, but witnesses told officers the motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle driven by a 45-year-old woman.

The rider suffered several blunt force injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Responding officers said the woman was arrested after displaying obvious signs of impairment.

An investigation into the circumstances behind the crash remain underway.
