PIERCE COUNTY, WA — One person died late Friday night after their motorcycle collided with another vehicle at an intersection in south Firecrest, according to Tacoma Police Department.
Authorities responded to the scene in the 4000 block of South Orchard Street near Emerson Street at around 10:15 a.m.

The intersection was shut down as an investigation was conducted, and motorists were instructed to take alternate routes to avoid the scene.
No further details have been released, but The News Tribune learned high speed may have contributed to the fatal accident.
