FRANKLIN COUNTY, WA — Two teenagers and two younger children were injured early Thursday in a single-car accident on an Interstate 182 offramp in Pasco, according to KOMO News.

The collision occurred on the I-182 eastbound offramp to State Route 397 southbound at around 12:28 a.m.

According to the Washington State Patrol, a 17-year-od Mattawa resident was behind the wheel of a vehicle going east on the ramp when the teen failed to negotiate a curve and hit a guardrail.

The driver and three other occupants aged 15, 9, and 7 were transported to a local hospital. Authorities have not disclosed the extent of their injuries.

WSP determined the teen driver was traveling too fast for the wet weather conditions at the time and is expected to be charged with negligent driving.
