A photo taken at the scene shows a gray pickup truck with severe front end damage at rest against a tree.
According to Trooper Reyer, the vehicle had been traveling too fast for the wet weather conditions at the time, causing the driver to lose control.
Authorities said the driver sustained minor injuries, though it was not immediately clear if they were transported to a hospital.
