SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — Seven people were injured Saturday evening when a vehicle traveled over a cliff near east Arlington, according to KIRO 7 News.
The county’s Search & Rescue crews and Fire Department personnel responded to the scene near Boulder River Trailhead shortly before 6:11 p.m.
Few details have been shared on the events leading up to the crash, but crews had to conduct a technical rescue for the impacted occupants.
One person was transported by airlift to a local hospital in critical condition, and six others were taken by ambulance with an undisclosed range of injuries.
Motorists were instructed to avoid the area as authorities worked the scene.
An investigation was underway to determine the cause of the accident.
