SEATTLE, WA — At least one person was injured Friday morning after a collision on the Ship Canal Bridge heading into north Seattle, according to Trooper Rick Johnson with Washington State Patrol.

The crash happened on Interstate 5 northbound running over the bridge. It was first reported by WSP at 11:53 a.m. after the wreck had already cleared from the roadway.
A photo captured at the scene shows Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) crews in the two right lanes, attending to a blue passenger car with severe front-end damage.
WSP said the accident resulted in minor injuries but did not confirm the number of people injured.
