SEATTLE, WA — A 51-year-old man was arrested Monday night after crashing his car into five vehicles and a business storefront in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood, according to KIRO 7 News.

Police received multiple reports on a string of collisions on Fourth Avenue and Cedar Street, Broad Street and Denny Way, and Second Avenue and Battery Street, all around 9:30 p.m.

Five different vehicles had been hit by the time the driver of a white Toyota sedan crashed through the front of a business located at Second Avenue and Denny Street.

Several drivers of the impacted vehicles suffered minor injuries.

Officers said the driver appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and other substances and took him to Harborview Medical Center for a blood test. Shortly after, the man was booked into King County Jail. He is likely to face multiple charges, including hit-and-run, DUI, and negligent driving.
