SKAGIT COUNTY, WA — A vehicle accident Friday morning closed all eastbound and westbound lanes on state Route 20 near Anacortes, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.
On SR 20 eastbound & westbound at Tibbles Ln there is a collision blocking all lanes.

The crash happened on a stretch of SR-20 near Tibbles Lane at milepost 46 and was first reported by WSDOT shortly after 7:00 a.m.
No further information or visuals have been shared, but the incident caused a traffic backup extending about a mile and a half long in both directions.

By 7:44 a.m., emergency crews were reported to have arrived on the scene.
At 8:21 a.m., more than an hour after the crash, the scene was announced cleared with all lanes reopened.
