by | Aug 17, 2021 | Accidents in the News |

PIERCE COUNTY, WA — A suspected DUI driver crashed a vehicle into a trench Monday after driving through a marked construction zone in Puyallup, according to KIRO 7 News.

Police said the driver narrowly missed three road workers who had been working in the trench only moments before the front wheels of the vehicle lodged in.

A breathalyzer test administered to the at-fault driver came back .200, more than quadrupling the legal blood alcohol limit.

No other information has been provided regarding exactly where and when the incident occurred.
