News: RV fire reported on SR-99 in Seattle’s East Queen Anne area

SEATTLE, WA — A recreational vehicle caught fire early Thursday morning on Aurora Avenue North in the East Queen Anne area of Seattle, according to KOMO News.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Aurora Avenue North (SR-99) and McGraw Street at approximately 1:15 a.m.

Seattle Fire crews responded to the scene where the vehicle fire nearly spread to a nearby building. Firefighters were ultimately able to control the blaze, and no injuries were reported.

Several motorists in the area were forced to detour around the fiery scene.

An investigation remained underway to determine the cause of the fire.
