News: Pedestrian struck by vehicle near Junction area in west Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A 66-year-old man was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle near the Junction neighborhood in west Seattle, according to West Seattle Blog.

Emergency personnel responded to the crash near the intersection of California Avenue Southwest, Southwest Edmunds Street, and Erskine Way Southwest shortly before 2:05 p.m.

Little information has been reported on what led up to the incident, but a spokesperson with Seattle Fire Department said the male pedestrian was transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

The intersection remained blocked for the duration of the response. By 2:22 p.m., the scene had been cleared and the street reopened.

No other details have been disclosed about the at-fault driver.
