SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — One person was fatally injured Tuesday evening in a collision between a pedestrian and a semi-truck on Interstate 5 in Everett, according to Trooper Rocky Oliphant with Washington State Patrol.
Troopers are on scene of a serious injury semi truck vs pedestrian collision south on I-5 in Everett (128th street). Two lanes are blocked while we investigate. Expect delays in the area.

WSP troopers responded to the scene in the southbound lanes of I-5 near 128th Street at around 5:42 p.m.
One person who was seriously injured in the incident later succumbed to their injuries. It has not been confirmed whether or not the person who died was the pedestrian.

Motorists were warned of delays in the area as two lanes were closed for an investigation.
