KING COUNTY, WA — A motorcyclist suffered critical injuries Saturday after a car caused the rider to crash and fall 30 feet over an embankment in SeaTac, according to Q13 FOX.

The motorcyclist was traveling on Orilla Road east of Interstate 5 when a car suddenly pulled out in a wide turn in front of the bike, forcing the rider to swerve out of the way and down the embankment.

The victim was left in critical condition with significant spinal and head injuries.

Dash cam footage captured the causing vehicle slowing down and then driving away after the bike crashes.

Investigators said while the car and the bike did not collide, the driver may still be charged with hit-and-run for failing to stop and render aid.

Detectives describe the suspect vehicle as an older gold Lincoln town car in near “pristine condition” bearing no front license plate.
