SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle accident Monday morning blocked two left lanes on Interstate 5 Express near Seattle’s Cascade neighborhood, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.
Update 7:59 AM : On the I-5 southbound express lanes just south of Stewart St there is a collision blocking the 2 left lanes.

The crash happened on the southbound of I-5 Express just south of Stewart Street and was first reported by WSDOT at around 8:00 a.m.
Traffic footage captured at the scene shows multiple emergency vehicles responding to the scene with traffic diverting through the right two lanes.

By 9:27 a.m., nearly 1.5 hours after the accident, the scene was reported cleared with all lanes reopened.
