KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle collision early Wednesday morning damaged the concrete barrier on a state Route 167 offramp near Auburn, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.

The accident took place on the SR-167 southbound offramp to state Route 18 westbound. It was first reported by WSDOT at 1:40 a.m.
The ramp was blocked for several hours as motorists were instructed to take alternate routes.
By 12:19 p.m., WSDOT announced the ramp would remain closed the rest of the day and overnight until 5:00 a.m. Thursday.
For the time being, motorists were encouraged to detour using SR-167 southbound to SR-18 eastbound, then C Street back to SR-18 westbound.
