SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle collision Sunday afternoon downed a pole and closed roads near the West Woodland neighborhood in north Seattle, according to Seattle Department of Transportation.
No visual but report of a collision at 8th Ave NW & NW 50th St. With report of down pole. Use caution and seek alternate routes.

The crash took place near the intersection of 8th Avenue Northwest and Northwest 50th Street and was first reported at 1:37 p.m.
By 2:35 p.m., roads from Northwest 49th Avenue through Northwest 53rd Street were closed as authorities responded to the incident.
Motorists were instructed to travel through the area with caution or divert through alternate routes.
