KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle collision Friday morning closed all southbound lanes on Interstate 405 near the Everest neighborhood in Kirkland, according to Trooper Rick Johnson with Washington State Patrol.
SB I-405 will be closed at NE 85th for only a short amount of time. This is due to the collision investigation SB 405 south of NE 85th.

The crash occurred on a stretch of I-405 southbound past Northeast 85th Street and was first reported at 8:28 a.m.
By 8:49 a.m., the scene was cleared and all lanes were reopened.
No other information was provided on the parties involved, but WSP said the short closure was to aid the investigation.
