JEFFERSON COUNTY, WA — A 21-year-old Port Orchard resident was hospitalized after a single-car rollover collision near Bees Mill in Jefferson County, according to The Leader.
The incident occurred near Milepost 302 on US-101 west of Bees Mill shortly before 2:00 a.m., as reported by Washington State Patrol.
The young man was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt on US-101 southbound when he misjudged a curve on a hill as he was crossing Spencer Creek. The vehicle flipped over many times before coming to a rest on its tires.
The driver was transported to Jefferson Healthcare Medical Center in Port Townsend where his condition was not disclosed.
WSP said the man will face charges for speeding and not wearing a safety device.
