KITSAP COUNTY, WA — A 62-year-old woman suffered injuries Saturday afternoon after a single-vehicle collision involving a travel trailer on state Route 3 in Bremerton, according to The Olympian.

The incident occurred near Erlands Point Road at around 1:00 p.m. The woman was driving northbound on SR-3 in a Chevy Tahoe that was hauling a 28-foot travel trailer. According to Washington State Patrol, the trailer began swinging back and forth until it rolled and landed on its side across two northbound lanes. The Chevy Tahoe also separated from the trailer, causing it to strike a guardrail and roll over on its driver’s side.

The woman, a Belfair resident, was rushed to St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale. No information on her condition has been released.

Troopers said speed and a heavy trailer load were factors in the crash, which slowed traffic in the area for over two hours.
