SEATTLE, WA — A popular flower vendor suffered injuries Saturday evening after he was struck by a vehicle in the Pike-Pike Corridor near Capitol Hill in Seattle, according to Capitol Hill Seattle.
Seattle Fire and Seattle police said the incident occurred near 11th Avenue and East Pike Street at approximately 6:15 p.m.
The male vendor was carrying a large bouquet of roses while crossing East Pike Street when he was struck by a car and knocked to the pavement.
The man was transported by ambulance to a hospital with injuries SFD said were not believed to be life-threatening. Not other details about his condition have been reported.
The at-fault driver stayed behind after the crash and waited for police to arrive.
