SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A woman was critically injured Monday evening after crashing her motorcycle near the scene of another accident on I-5 near Smokey Point, according to KOMO News.
Washington State Patrol troopers said the woman was riding her motorcycle southbound on I-5 shortly before 6:37 p.m. when she approached the scene of an earlier wreck. In an attempt to avoid the wreck, the woman veered off the road and onto the median before striking a road barrier. The crash caused her to be thrown off the bike.
Troopers and medics already on scene rushed to get the woman airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Her condition has not been reported.
