SEATTLE, WA — A suspected DUI driver was arrested Wednesday morning after a single-vehicle collision on a ramp to Interstate 5 southbound in Seattle, according to Trooper Rick Johnson with Washington State Patrol.

The crash took place on the I-5 southbound ramp off South Dearborn Street before 10:44 a.m.
Trooper Johnson said both impairment and speed played a role in the incident.
The stretch of South Dearborn Street before I-5 southbound was shut down as crews worked to clear the crash.
An image captured at the scene show the first end of a dump truck resting on its side and what appears to be a mound of dirt poured out from the vehicle and onto the roadway, blocking the ramp.
