SEATTLE, WA — At least one person was trapped in a vehicle Wednesday morning after a collision in the Pike Pine Retail Core neighborhood of Seattle, according to Seattle Fire Department.
Rescue extrication response headed to 1st Ave. S. and Virginia St. for vehicle collision. Avoid area and take alternate routes.

Fire crews were dispatched to the incident at 1st Avenue South and Virginia Street intersection near Pike Place Market shortly before 8:00 a.m.
Rescue efforts required an extrication response, suggesting at least one person was trapped or injured after the crash and was unable to exit a vehicle. The extrication also suggests significant damages to at least one vehicle.
