SEATTLE, WA — A van crashed into and destroyed a restaurant’s patio dining area Thursday night in Seattle, according to Capitol Hill Seattle.
Authorities were called to the scene in front of Capitol Cider, located at 818 East Pike Street by Broadway Avenue, just before midnight.
According to reports, a white van careened over East Pike Street and a protected bicycle lane before slamming into the outdoor seating structure. No serious injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
The driver of the van was administered a field sobriety test by Seattle police and passed.
