TACOMA, WA — A two-vehicle collision Monday evening forced an intersection to close down in the North End neighborhood of Tacoma, according to Tacoma Police Department.

The crash occurred on North 18th Street at North Orchard Street and was reported by police at 4:30 p.m.
Injuries were reported in the event, though no further details were given on the number or severity of the injuries.
Area commuters were told to take alternate routes.
At 8:34 p.m., nearly four hours after the incident, the intersection was reported cleared.
