PORT ANGELES, WA — A 14-year-old bicyclist was sent to the hospital Saturday afternoon after being struck by a car along US-101 in Port Angeles, according to Radio Pacific, Inc.
The girl was crossing the highway from Blue Mountain Road at around 1:30 p.m. when a Honda Civic driven by an 18-year-old Seabeck resident struck her.
The driver and its passengers stopped and immediately called 911.
The injured bicyclist was transported to Harborview Medical Center where her condition was listed as stable on Friday afternoon.
No other injuries were reported in the incident.
