OLYMPIA, WA — A jackknifed semi-truck blocked the road and delayed traffic Friday evening on state Route 101 southbound in Olympia, according to Trooper Robert Reyer with Washington State Patrol.

The incident occurred on a stretch of SR-101 southbound near Mud Bay Road, where the semi was found in the right ditch. Trooper Reyer reported the crash at 8:38 p.m.

The truck’s trailer was said to be loaded with 30,000 pounds of seafood.

A long clean-up time was estimated, as authorities worked to clear the triple axle assembly blocking the right lane.

No injuries were reported in the crash.
