News: Crews rescue one person from fire in Seattle high rise

SEATTLE, WA — Fire crews rescued one occupant from a fire that broke out in a Seattle high rise building early Friday morning, according to the Seattle Fire Department.

Seattle Fire responded to the incident in the 100 block of Cedar Street at around 5:30 a.m.

The fire, confined to a single unit, was extinguished by the sprinkler system

One occupant was rescued from the affected unit and was evaluated by paramedics.

An investigation into the cause of fire is underway.
